Casting Couch: Dushku Scrubs in for "Nurses" While Cox "Stumps" After "Las Vegas"

Say it ain't so. Has Faith gone all good girl on us?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Eliza Dushku has signed on as Eve, the lead in medical dramedy Nurses (also known as Philadelphia General). Dushku replaces previously cast actress Katheryn Winnick, who has unexpectedly dropped out of the FOX pilot.

Meanwhile, Nikki Cox has signed onto a CBS pilot, just mere days after it was officially announced that she would not be returning for the fifth season of NBC's drama Las Vegas. Instead, Cox will star in The Stumps of Hollywood (formerly known as Fugly), the comedy from Greg Garcia (My Name is Earl) that was originally developed several seasons ago.

Cox joins the previously cast Marissa Jaret Winokur in, what I assume, is the role of the central character, a woman who undergoes an extreme makeover and transforms herself (using her and her siblings' inheritance money) and then embarks on a move to Hollywood in search of fame and fortune.
