Writing Life: ESCAPE Named Quarter-Finalist in 2017 StoryPros International Screenplay Contest
Full of turkey and Thanksgiving gluttony, I was on tenterhooks all today waiting to see whether my feature script ESCAPE would make the cut for the 2017 StoryPros International Screenplay Competition...
And as I cleaned up the last remnants of two days of drinking and eating and family, I checked the StoryPros website and was overjoyed to discover that (drum roll, please): it did!
Yes, ESCAPE has been selected as a quarter-finalist (!!!) and will compete in the next round of judging, the results of which won't be announced until mid-December.
Given how this is the first feature script I've written, I feel a tremendous sense of pride with each new contest placement that ESCAPE receives.
