Writing Life: CONNECTION Named Finalist in Barnstorm Festival

As you can see from the above, my pilot script CONNECTION was now named a *finalist* in the Barnstorm Film + TV Script Festival, one of just three finalists in the category!

Writing is often a solitary pursuit: so many hours spent sitting in front of your computer or poring over printed-out pages in coffee shops or trains or your living room. To receive recognition for something you've written is validation that those hours, that struggle, that hard work and discipline, those countless hours, are worth it. 

Thank you to Barnstorm Fest for this incredible recognition and honor. I'm just incredibly ecstatic — this really does mean the world to me!
